This is a 5‑night, 6‑day hosted experience set in Casa Cielo, a private villa in the hills of Punta Islita, Costa Rica. Surrounded by jungle and ocean, just minutes from the beach and far from any major city, the setting invites you to slow down the moment you arrive.
At the beginning of the week, all personal devices are gently collected. What follows is a rare kind of luxury: no notifications, no schedules chasing you, no constant pull outward.
Days unfold with daily movement, nourishing meals, curated activities, and generous space to rest, explore, or simply be. This is an invitation to step out of the chronic online world and into a calmer, more grounded rhythm — held by nature, intention, and ease.

Casa Cielo is located in the quiet town of Punta Islita, 5 minute walk from the ocean. A great place to relax, unplug and arrive back at yourself.

Punta Islita is located about a 2 1/2-3 hour drive from the Liberia Airport. We will provide the transfers to and from the Liberia Airport.

We will collect your phones and all devices at the beginning of the experience to allow you to completely disconnect with out temptation. They will be placed is a secure safe during your stay and will be returned before you head home.

Each day we will have a morning strength, or pilates class. Every night we will do evening yoga classes

You will be guided in daily journaling, meditation and breathwork.

We will have time slots for you to sign up for one 60 minute massage on the beach during your stay.

Meet your Hosts
This OFFLINE is hosted by Markie and Nick, partners in life and in creating spaces where people feel grounded, connected, and genuinely at ease.
Markie was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, and spent part of her childhood growing up in Costa Rica — an experience that shaped her relationship to nature, movement, and slower ways of living. Nick was born in West Virginia and raised on a farm, in a family that grew, made, and prepared much of their own food. That early environment instilled a deep respect for simplicity, routine, and the quiet intelligence of the natural world.
Nick later spent several years working in treatment settings, supporting people through periods of transition, healing, and reconnection. That work continues to inform how he shows up — with steadiness, attentiveness, and a strong sense of care for group dynamics and emotional safety.
Before creating OFFLINE, Markie and Nick spent four years as professional international guides in the luxury active travel space, leading immersive experiences around the world. Their work centered on movement, logistics, safety, and — most importantly — creating environments where strangers could quickly feel like a community.
Over time, they noticed something missing. Even in beautiful places, with thoughtful itineraries and exceptional accommodations, people rarely felt fully at rest. Phones stayed close. Attention stayed split.
OFFLINE grew from that observation.
Today, Markie and Nick host OFFLINE experiences as a way of returning to what travel can feel like when it’s unhurried, unplugged, and deeply human. Their role isn’t to perform or instruct — it’s to hold the container, tend to the details, and create the conditions for guests to arrive fully as they are.
